Today finds Jonas shaking hands with the last of the workmen as they stream out the doors to the hotel. He walks over to the elevator, pushes the button, and waits...eyes closed.
Samuel Jackson's "Alice Mae" comes streaming out when the doors open, rousing Jonas from his couple seconds of zoning out. His past weeks have been nothing but staring at hotel floorplans and urban development plans and wondering when the next crisis will come.
5th floor pings, Jonas walks out to an empty common area, stops by the pack room for a few things, and continues on to the room of totems with his polishing kit. He polishes the statues, leaves two fingers of rum before each one when he finishes. After all of the statues are finished either being polished, or at the very least dusted in Cockroach's case, Jonas sits before the statues of Grandfather Thunder and his brood and waits for the afternoon storm.

"You should leave powdered sugar and Crisco for Cockroach. He likes it better," Fetch sits down next to Jonas.

Jonas smiles, but his eyes don't open. Minutes pass and the clock strikes 3:33pm. Alongside the chiming of the clock, a low thunder rumbles in the distance. Jonas opens his eyes and turns his head to face Fetch-and-Carry.
"Krispie Kreme donuts work? There's a couple in the fridge with no one's name on them. Make your tithe to Cockroach and meet me on the roof."

(sorry for the delay. Haven't been paying much attention to larp lately)
"Krispy Kreme is always welcomed by Cockroach. He especially likes them when they are a few days old."
Fetch strolls over to the kitchen and pulls the donut box out of the back. Turning over the box, it looks like the donuts have been sitting there for a while and are going to stay there. She brings the box to the statue and leaves it open in front of it. Then she goes to join Jonas on the roof top.

Jonas stands on the roof, watching the storm brewing in the south end of town for what seems like an eternity...Fetch joins him.
"The shoes you aim to put your feet in are big. They're going to depend on you, lean hard on you, they might not even listen to you all the time...possibly try to make it sound like they don't have to. Beat them if you have to, I fear that some of them have forgotten that we are not solely people. There is an order that is older than 'civilization' and if we are going to be able to maintain--ah--sorry, looks like I found the soapbox. I'm pretty sure I know who left it up here. Anyway, make sure you are able to exert your will on others. Make sure that it's your order and not their whimsy they follow."

Fetch stands next to Jonas and watches the storm a bit before turning to Jonas and answering.
"I not be the biggest or strongest of the Garou in the sept. Unfortunately beating them into submission isn't an option for me. However I am the sneakiest Garou. They won't follow thier whims not because they fear me, but because they believe it is what they want to do. Sometimes they might look like they disagree with me, but in actualty they are doing exactly what they need to do."
She looks back out to the dark clouds. "I don't like tricking my fellow Garou. I hope it will never have to come to that. However, part of me knows that this is a foolish hope. They will respect me, but they are Garou. We often let our emotions carry us into stupidity. It is a job of any leader of our people to make sure they get swept back into the fold before they do some damage."

Big drops of rain hit the edge of the roof, then pour down Jonas and Fetch. Jonas smiles and turns to her, "Good, you realize why I can't remember a time I've had to beat someone into submission. Trust me, it gets really tempting though, especially when people start forgetting what we are and what that means." Jonas kicks at ground like he was shooing an annoying pet, "Get away, crazy soapbox!"
He continues, "You're going to do just fine. Just remember that you'll be sitting at the big kids' table. Don't take no guff. As for your beatdown ability...you are a machine of destruction devised by Gaia and all her wisdom...just because you're not Ahroun doesn't mean that you can't lift some weights, get under someone's wing for tutelage, and whoop someone's candy ass! Not my candy ass, of course," he laughs, "but someone's. Usually the ones you are going to be able to beat down are the ones that are going to be disrespecting you anyways...we call those 'Haters.' Do what you like with haters, shitty people anyway. Everyone else should be pretty supportive."

Fetch wrings a bit of water out of her hair.
"We are wolves but at the same time we are people. Wolves are easy to deal with. They know thier place in the hierarchy and keep it. People are different. Most people resent when you resort to physical violence. The threat of violence is useful at time, but it is much better to get to agree with you."
The wind starts to blow a bit and Fetch shivers a bit. "I can handle the big kids table. I just need to get the little kids settled first."
